Macky2 to grace Eliba Kanyama 1st Anniversar­y

The DJ who is also official music DJ for musician Shenky Shugar, will be on decks starting 14:00 hours playing nothing but classic 90s music. This is music common amongst people were born in the mid-70s and early 80s.

According to Sean, this is music for the soul. He promises to give a real throwback journey to patrons and help then chill on a Sunday.

Sean has been involved in music since his childhood in Kafue town. He is currently the resident DJ at Chita Lodge- Kafue and he is well known for the Shenky Shugar sound dubbed ‘Chi Shenky’.

“Playing at the show this Sunday will give me an opportunit­y to interact with people who will be interested in recollecti­ng their music memories of the 90s. 90s music never fades, it is music for the soul and I urge a lot of people to come and have a Sunday chill at Truth Café,” said Sean. ZAMBIAN hip hop star Mark Mulaza Kaira famously called Macky2 will grace Eliba Kanyama’s first Anniversar­y set for next Friday, March 1st.

The artistes who is loosely referred to as ‘Ghetto President’ owing to his current album has a huge following in the area and will obviously attract a huge crowd.

Eliba Sports Pub 3-Kanyama is located on Los Angeles Road and because of its central location, this show will also attract patrons from closer residents to Kanyama. Macky 2 was one of the first artistes to perform at the club when it opened last year and since then, the club has been hosting various artistes.

According to club management, the task of hosting musicians especially those on top of their game, is to promote Zambian music and bring artistes closer to their real fans. This anniversar­y event will there start around

20:00 hours with supporting acts and music mix sessions by resident DJs.

Macky2 whose music is always enjoying massive airplay is expected to start his act after 22:00 hours. The event will attract a K30 entry fee to help control the crowd while the first 24 ladies will be offered a free bottle of Ambassador Wine and a

T-Shirt.
