Zambia Sanjay Argarwal said the manufacturing plant in Zambia would be fully operational by mid this year.
Mr Argarwal said Zambia would earn net foreign exchange and more than 100 direct jobs would be created for the 24 hour shifts.
This is contained in a statement issued yesterday by First Secretary for press and tourism at the Zambian Mission in India, Bangwe Naviley.
This came to light when Ms Kapijimpanga toured the manufacturing plant in Gwalior in the Indian State of Madhya Pradesh.
She said recycling would help to clean the environment as desired by the Government of Zambia.
The Ambassador said the manufacturing plant in Zambia would also result in value addition to nonferrous metallic waste.
Ms Kapijimpanga said the consortium would bring on board unique value and capabilities to Zambia as they could help in accelerating the development and growth of the manufacturing sector.
She said Zambia was looking forward to the recycling of non- ferrous metals such as aluminum, lead, copper and brass.
Ms Kapijimpanga prodded stakeholders in Zambia to move with speed in facilitating the investment so that it materialises by the first half of this year.
