- BY NOEL IYOMBWA

PATROITIC Party will not allow cadres to go and rough up other cadres during the Roan by-election, Copperbelt youth chairperson Don Mungulube has said.

Mr Mungulube said there were youths in Roan who knew what they were expected of as there was no need to have youths from other provinces shipped to Luanshya.

He said the party also wanted to take stock of all the people who would participate in the by-election.

Speaking during a PF interactive forum Mr Mungulube expressed optimism that the PF would scope Roan seat.

He however warned opposition UPND that the PF would not condone the violence which took place in Sesheke by election.

He said that the UPND should take a leaf from the PF resolution not to take cadres from other provinces to avoid violence during by-election.

“As youths why should we be fighting, we are the future leaders who are supposed to be advising our leaders.

Once the date is set for campaigns, let’s do clean politics, violence free and let’s also be mindful of the language,

“We will not allow violence on the Copperbelt because we have a system in play to curb violence. So let them (UPND) take a leaf from our resolution not to take cadres from other provinces to by-election in Roan,”he said.

He advised PF youths to condemn violence in strongest terms and instead concentrate on development matters such the Youth Empowerment funds.

Meanwhile Mr Mungulube has announced that all the ten provinces have endorsed President Edgar Lungu as their candidate for the 2021 elections.

He said the decision was arrived at during a meeting which was held on Saturday.
