‘We strive to support vulnerable groups’

- By MOSES SINJWALA

OUR goal is to support orphanages whose core business is to create a brighter future for women and girls who would otherwise face lives of inequality, exploitation, abuse and abandonment, says Zambia Airports Corporation (ZACL) Communication and brand manager Mweembe Sikaulu.

Ms Sikaulu said in the spirit of being a responsible corporate citizen ZACL remained committed to making a substantial and tangible impact on the community in which they operate.

“We are happy to learn that the vision of hope creates safe and supportive environment for young ladies by providing access to a range of resources from health care to education, to social and mental health support programmes,” she said

She commended the works that vision of hope was doing for the women and girls who were often times deprived of a better future.

She said this when ZACL presented a K10,000 cheque to vision of hope in commemoration and honor of international women’s day which falls on March 8.

And Vision of Hope Founder Chitalu Chishimba thanked the corporation for the support given to the orphanage stating that the donation will help the young ladies with material support for their school.

She urged the corporation to continue with their hand of giving to the vulnerable people in society.
