Retire inept ministers

-

Dear Editor,

IT is imperative for President Edgar Lungu to heed calls from patriotic Zambians to get rid of the ministers that are perceived to be corrupt and those that are incompetent.

This is not the time to have sycophants, praise singers and yes bwana ministers.

We need to have visionary, competent and objective ministers who are driven by love for the country and motivated to work to deliver on campaign promises as espoused in the 2016 to 2021 PF manifesto and the 7th National Development Plan.

Are we truly serious about industrialisation and job creation?

For me, austerity measures alone can’t help in improving the economy because it entails reduction in government expenditure and eventually reduce liquidity.

The Minister of Finance should mobilise experts to help her secure a bailout package from the IMF.

President Lungu should realise that Zambians know that he is a good man who has one serious weakness, wanting to keep fellowship with people who are working against his job description.

The Zambian people did not elect President Lungu to protect incompetent ministers, but we elected him to protect the interests of all Zambians.

Zambians are watching, to be moderate, only 9 percent of his ministers are working.

There are so many MPs in PF and independent ones who can do a good job. I believe the president will be kind enough to listen and correct the situation.
