DEVELOPMEN­T ELATES MWATA KAZEMBE

chiefdom has greatly benefited from infrastruc­ture developmen­t the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) government has rolled out in the country since coming into power, Mwata Kazembe has said.

The traditiona­l leader who hailed President Edgar Lungu for the developmen­t taking place in his area and the country had so far.

The country, he said, had seen more developmen­t than ever before because the PF government was eager to improve the welfare of the people.

Mwata Kazembe said Government had made strides in ensuring that economic roads were worked on, which was critical to the growth of the country’s economy.

The traditiona­l leader also said Government had improved the status of the roads in his chiefdom which were in deplorable state.

“Truly President Edgar Lungu and his government must be commended for what they are doing for this country.

“Today have seen the busy road which goes to my palace which was in a deplorable state being worked on.

The road connects from the palace and the venue were Mutomboko Ceremony is held,” he said.

Mwata Kazembe developmen­t had ed positively, stating said the impactthat his subjects had benefited from the projects as they had been employed by the contractor working on the roads.

“In the past, the road was an eyesore and posed a threat to people’s lives due to potholes and ditches.

“The Patriotic Front government led by President Lungu has responded to the cries of the people of Luapula by taking infrastruc­ture developmen­t in all districts,” the traditiona­l leader said.
