Dr Nkumbula said that it was important to make entrepreneurship inclusive in the development of the economy.

This is because entrepreneurship focused on initiatives aimed at setting up entities that provided goods and services, create jobs and economically empower entrepreneurs.

She was speaking in Ndola at the on-going 55th ZITF being held under the theme ' inclusive growth through entrepreneurship.’

Dr Nkumbula said ZITF was contributing to the implementation of the Seventh National Development Plan as well as supplementing Government efforts by providing a platform that gave entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their products and services.

Dr Nkumbula added that opportunities at the ZITF also enabled them to network with fellow entrepreneurs and decision makers, thus creating business linkages for continued growth.

She noted that this year's theme, ' inclusive growth through entrepreneurship’ was anchored on growth without leaving anyone behind.

"This model is aimed at developing social and economic programmes that ought to result in growth of all sectors of the economy and positively impact the different classes of the citizenry to participate in economic development regardless of their social status, physical abilities, gender or age, " she said. She added that he ZITF held seminars in order to empower entrepreneurs with knowledge and skills.

Dr Nkumbula said the business seminars focused on franchising as a business
