PF condemns foul mouths

- By NATION REPORTER

A PATRIOTIC Front (PF) official and Kitwe businessman has advised Zambians to discourage politics of malice and insults by denouncing those who want to be heroes by engaging in politics of personal hate and mudslinging.

Allen Banda, who is Chimwemwe constituency vice-treasurer, said politics of insults had continued to dominate the Zambian political arena because Zambians had entertained and eulogised it.

In an interview in Kitwe Mr Banda said it was sad and disappointing that people who had nothing sensible to tell Zambians apart from insulting those in authority were being eulogised in some sections of society.

This is really sad and as Zambians, we have created this situation where we eulogise politics of insults and we have no respect for our national leaders. We should stop eulogising politics of insults,”

“This is really sad and as Zambians, we have created this situation where we eulogise politics of insults and we have no respect for our national leaders. We should stop eulogising politics of insults,” Mr Banda said.

“I get worried when I see a situation where people are praising a politician who is insulting others,’’ he said.

Analyse the leadership of President Edgar Lungu and that of opposition leaders who were insulting him.

He said some opposition leaders who were insulting President Lungu were being driven by hatred, bitterness, anger and frustration because they thought they were in a better position to become republican President.

‘’But you don’t fight for leadership. You wait for your time.

If you are not destined to become republican president, you will not become one no matter how much you fight for the position,” he said.

“If you are not a republican President, don’t insult the one in the seat, but try to serve people in various areas where you can serve. Don’t harbour grudges,’’ Mr Banda said.
