Hungry questions that have been starved of hichilema’s answer

-

FOLLOWING Hichilema’s recent gimmicks where he has refuted the realities of Climate Change, the following questions hunger and thirst for the UPND leader’s HONEST reflection and response: 1. Which areas of Zambia have most been affected by the climate change-induced drought? Isn’t it the Southern part of the country as confirmed by government and international agencies? 2. Then, what is Hichilema doing distributing 29 bags of mealie meal in Bauleni than where it is needed most in the Southern part of Zambia? 3. If Hichilema hailed from any other part of Zambia we would still have questioned him; but why is Hichilema neglecting Southern Province? 4. But since he comes from Bweengwa which is one of the areas of Southern Province which has been badly affected by the drought, we question Hichilema’s blatant neglect of his immediate rural kith and kin, preferring to pull a dismal publicity stunt hundreds of kilometers away in the City of Lusaka. Don’t the scriptures say he who fails to look after his own immediate family is worse than an infidel? 5. Why is he being stingy …why doesn’t he use a tiny fraction of some of the millions of dollars he has externalised in tax havens abroad to help his own kith and kin …”starting first from Jerusalem, to Judea and then Samaria”… Why does he insist on starting and ending in “Samaria” while neglecting “Jerusalem” where such relief is needed the most? 6. Why doesn’t he acknowledge that citizens across collective the country are individually and collectively feeling the effects of climate change in various ways; and the DMMU under the office of the Vice President and other Government agencies been at work providing relief? 7. How come Zambians have never heard Hichilema or his personalized UPND, acknowledging the work of Government through DMMU distributing relief food even in so called UPND strongholds? 8. He is typically a person that enjoys reaping where he did not sow. Why was Hichilema intent on deceiving the public that he is the one who stimulated international partners such as the UN and United Kingdom (UK) to supplement Government relief efforts, when it is the Vice President of the Republic of Zambia that has been making the initiative? 9. How humane is it for Hichilema with his unexplained wealth to celebrate Climate Change, Drought and Poverty? 10. How realistic is it for him and UPND to tell the nation they will IMMEDIATELY and TOTALLY eradicate poverty and drought in the extremely unlikely event they formed government? Hichilema needs to be realistic and reflect on the reality that, while as confirmed by the scriptures that we will always have the poor among us until Christ returns, the Patriotic Front Government of His Excellency President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has demonstrated a vigorous commitment to push back the frontier of poverty and vulnerability among our citizens across all regions of Zambia. m But for now Mr Hakainde Hichilema, please answer the above questions - and for once be honest.
