Failed leaders plotting against PF - Council of Bishops
THOSE that failed to deliver under the MMD administration have regrouped and formed a cartel aimed at portraying President Edgar Lungu’s government as a failed project, Bishops Council of Zambia (BCZ) secretary-general Abel Kaela has said.
Bishop Kaela said leadership was given by God and those plotting against President Lunga and the PF Government were just wasting their energy and time.
He was reacting to former Special Assistant to the President for Policy and Project Implementation and Monitoring Jack Kalala’s call to the Catholic Church to help remove the PF from government as reported in yesterday’s Mast newspaper.
“After failing to perform in the MMD government and failing to get jobs in the current administration, some people have now formed a cartel to make the PF unpopular in the eyes of Zambians,’’ he said
He charged that Mr Kalala failed in MMD and wondered why suddenly he had become wise to start seeing wrongs in the current government.
The Bishop said it was wrong for Mr Kalala and his associates to incite the church to turn against the elected Government at the same time claim to be a Christion because doing so was not only against biblical teaching but also unzambian.
He urged President Lungu not to be distracted from his developmental path but instead continue with his vision of ensuring that the lives of Zambian were improved.
He said BCZ would continue praying for President and his Government so that he could continue developing the country.
