PF masqueraders to be fished out
WE have positively identified those causing confusion in Lusaka’s markets and bus stations and the law will soon visit them, Patriotic Front Lusaka Province chairman has said. Mr Daniel Kalembe said though the administration was still struggling with the unruly individuals, they had been identified. He said the individuals were known United Party for National Development Members (UPND) members and have been seen in the party regalia posing next to their leader. “We are still struggling with certain individuals masquerading as PF members but the good part is that those people who have been inciting other people and bringing confusion have been identified. They belong to the UPND we even have photos, they pretend to be bus drivers but we know them as UPND supporters,” he said. In an interview with the Daily Nation, Mr Kalembe said the cadres were behind the issuing of statements purporting that PF cadres where interfering with the operations of the markets and bus stations. Mr Kalembe assured that the PF would not tolerate the lawlessness. He said the intentions of the opposition were to gain popularity in these trading places and incite the operators to rise against anyone who belongs to the PF. “We are happy that these people are being exposed and they are being known by the people. The law will soon take action,” he said. Mr Kalembe called on stakeholders to come forth and report any perpetrators.
