- By OLIVER SAMBOKO

THE desperation by the opposition UPND to assume state power by all means if not checked, will put the unity and harmony of this country in danger, Patriotic Front (PF) Lusaka Provincial Youth Chairperson Daniel Kalembe has charged.

Mr Kalembe said the UPND leadership should stop its barbaric behavior of sponsoring confusion in an attempt to stir anarchy and cause an uprising in the country.

He said the PF youths in Lusaka were happy with the manner the police and other security wings were responding to the current gassing incidents in some parts of the country and were hopeful that soon the culprits sponsored by the opposition would be brought to book to face justice.

Mr Kalembe said it would go in Zambia’s history book that it was only during the tenure of the the UPND as largest opposition party that sabotage and rituals were experienced.

"We have reliable information that the act of gassing being experienced in the country is sponsored by the UPND and its alliances," Mr Kalembe said.

He said the youths in the country will not sit idle and watch the country go into the hands of Satanists adding that there was need for Zambians rise up in prayer and conquer evil that was being perpetrated by opposition and their foreign supporters.

Mr Kalembe said UPND plans in the past that it would bring Armageddon was now coming come to the fore through the coordinated incidents of gassing of houses but warned that such evil acts were not going to prevail because Zambia was a Christian nation.

And Provincial Youth Chairperson for Eastern Province Emmanuel Banda said people of Zambia should now question the kind of leadership the opposition UPND wanted to bring in the country with such inhuman acts.

Mr Banda said the desperate act were mainly aimed at tarnishing the imagine of the ruling party and President Edgar Lungu.

He said the revelations had proven that President Lungu was under God's favour and no weapon fashioned against him was going to prosper.

Mr Banda said the PF youths in Eastern Province were going to organize prayers against any satanic acts which were happening in the country and hoped that youths from the opposition UPND were also going to participate.

"We will call for more prayers so that the satanic acts being experiencing in the country can be vanquished,” he said.

“Also give the opposition UPND chance to vindicate themselves by coming to prayer with the nation, but if they refuse then will all know the truth," Mr Banda said.
