And Apostle Soko advised Zambians not to take the law into their hands following the spate of gassings and mob justice that have rocked the country.
In a message to members of the church on incidences of gassing and attacks on citizens, Apostle Soko said those that hurt or mistreat others were not to be physically harmed by citizens, but rather deserve sympathy and prayer as they were victims of the influence of evil.
He said Christians should never respond to violence with violence.
postle oko said while taking precautions to protect themselves, citizens should not resort to misinformation, retaliation or other related actions that the Lord does not expect of humanity.
He advised church members to take necessary precautions, at all times, to ensure safety for themselves, their loved ones and community.
Apostle Soko also advised members to take seriously the guidance and instructions given by the authorities.
“When provoked or exposed to danger, make an urgent report to the police or community leaders; Do not join groups of crowds that show hostile tendencies and hate towards fellow human beings and avoid being alone in isolated places,” he said.
