UPND and the self induced political suicide

-

Dear editor,

May I start by praising the three gallant son of the soil in UPND who against all odds risked their adoption and stand with the people of Zambia. The courage which they have shown is a vindictive that there are still the few living patriots in the UPND who can make valuable contribution if UPND leader Hakainde Sammy Hichilema was eliminated from the political s ace come

The three heroic MPs have shown the nation that Zambia and the Zambian people come first before the interest of HH to be elected as President.

The walking out from parliament is an open objection to the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation. It is clear the UPND MPs are comfortable with making Zambia as a multi religious nation rather than the Christian nation.

By walking out, the UPND have missed a golden opportunity to show that they are likely to include youths and the marginalized voices in Parliament through proportional

By walking out, the UPND MPs have actually consented to be subjected to further bitterness after the looming 2021 defeat if the lacunas that brought the post-2016 political sour grapes are not cured.

By walking out, they are simply expressing that they take pleasure in division and societal disorder and they do not want the nation to heal from the broken past.

The persuasive debates that were put across at the flour of the house have exposed the UPND as the bunch of pathological liars who are ready to twist facts for the sake of political expediency. They carried the propaganda that was propagated by their surrogates masquerading as CSOs. They teamed up with all the hostile media houses. However, from the spirited debates that we watched, it is clear that UPND and their surrogates masquerading as CSOs are at the verge of defeat and that’s why they are hitting out in desperation.

I wish to pay tribute to the MPs who remained in Parliament and as such all well-meaning youths must rally behind the PF and the three unsung heroes from the UPND. What you have done is one selfless service and one of the rare occasion when the nation is producing leaders who put the interests of their nation first before their nation.
