Mr Chanda said contrary to lies being peddled by some sections of society over the Christian provision, Zambia would remain a Christian Nation as prescribed in the

He said the Minister of Justice, on behalf of Cabinet,

had c arified that the inancia nte igence entre

would continue to perform its

functions

“Moreover, Cabinet has agreed to move a motion to make amendments to Bill 10 based on the proposals being

made to ar iament

“We therefore appeal to all Members of Parliament (MPs) from PF, UPND, MMD, NDC, FDD, and the independent, to fully support the proposals made by Cabinet in line with the Select Committee recommendations as the Constitution Amendment Bill

Mr Chanda said Zambians should also demand of their MPs, not to boycott or walkout of Parliament as the people deserve to hear from

their re resentati es debate

soberly on why they support

or o ose certain c auses

He said this was because the Constitution, being the supreme law of the land, was bigger than any political party and that the interests

of Zambia shou d come first

before any other partisan

interests
