ZAMBIA Development Agency (ZDA) board chairperson Fisho Mwale says he is shocked that unscrupulous individuals are alleging that he has written an article attacking Minister of Local Government Charles Banda. Speaking to the Daily Nation yesterday, Mr. Mwale said he will report the matter to Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) so that they fish out the dissidents behind the allegation. He said he was just alerted to the development yesterday but that at the time of the interview, he had not yet seen or read the same article other than the fact that some people were pitting him against Dr. Banda by suggesting that he had attacked him through a write-up which was shared on social media. “The article which appeared on social media yesterday purported to have been written by me which in essence criticises the Minister of Local Government is not written by me. Whoever put my name there has engaged themselves in a criminal act because I have nothing to do with this article. “I don’t know anything about and I don’t understand why they must put my name as the one who wrote that article instead of them being brave enough to use their own name. I want to protest in the strongest terms at this abuse of social media by unscrupulous characters and I am even reporting this matter to ZICTA so that they can trace who the perpetrators of this fake news are,” Mr Mwale said.
