judge John Shipanuka has warned Exodus Boxing Academy Director Antony ‘Preacher Man’ Mwamba to prepare adequately for their fight for charity bout meant to raise funds for struggling former boxers.

Speaking during an interview, 62-year-old Shipanuka, coached Mwamba in 1985 and warned that his former boxer is in big trouble.

Shipanuka who produced celebrated Zambian boxers such as Joseph “No Pressure” Chingangu, Felix Bwalya and Mwamba himself said the fight for charity is important as it is meant to uplift the lives of former boxers.

He however cautioned Mwamba to train hard for the fight despite it being a charitable bout because he will hit him hard.

“Let him prepare himself let him train hard, I’m not an easy person to fight, I will hit him six times and he will only manage to hit me once and he knows that.

“Four rounds is nothing for me but this is a charity fight which only allows four rounds. Even the likes of Mike Tyson who are coming back will fight four rounds which is the maximum rounds and I’m ready for that fight immediately after this Covid-19 pandemic is contained,” Shipanuka said.

He said the return of former WBC Champion Mike Tyson has motivated him to return to the ring to fight for a noble cause.

Meanwhile, 60-year-old Mwamba who announced his return to the ring after hanging up his gloves over 20 years ago said he is ready to fight his former coach who he said has a dangerous left hook punch.

Mwamba who has a record of 11 bouts and one loss said the date for the Charity fight will be announced after government lifts suspension on contact sports.
