Chifubu charcoal centre gets facelift K200, 000

THE charcoal trading centre in Chifubu constituen­cy in Ndola will get a facelift to the tune of K200,000 to make the location convenient for customers and traders.

Kamba ward councillor, Oscar Imanga, said a shelter would be constructe­d from the 2018 -2019 Ward Developmen­t Fund (WDF) of K200, 000.

COMMERCIAL sex workers in Kitwe have complained that business has become hard for them because clients are difficult to find following the closure of bars and night clubs.

They complained that their “profession” had also been impacted negatively because of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The commercial sex workers, who mistook a Daily Nation Reporter for a client, said the closure of bars and night clubs had forced them to chase for clients in the streets, where business was equally difficult because there were in the area about the lack of shelter and were being soaked during the rainy season while they have had to endure the scorching sun in summer.
