Patriotic Front media director, Sunday Chanda has said called on BISHOP Mambo to step down from CiSCA immediately.

Mr Chanda said the pictures attest that the CiSCA boss was masquerading as a civil society activist when he was a full time UPND cadre who is involved in active political campaigns.

However, CiSCA has explained that Bishop Mambo was no longer chairman and was in the process of being replaced.

When contacted, Bishop Mambo said wearing UPND regalia did not mean had joined the opposition party and that he was just helping with distribution of materials for making face masks.

He said he was ready to put on any regalia despite the political party and participate in their face mask distribution exercises as he had done the UPND.

“As long as the exercise is aimed at saving lives, bring your regalia and I will wear it publicly,” he said.

And Mr Chanda said the PF had previously warned against political stooges, irrespective of age, hiding behind the cloak of CSOs that it was just a matter of time before they would be exposed.

He said it was not surprising that CiSCA had come to this today, saying the organisation was known to be serving the interests and agenda of the opposition and those hiring them for regime change purposes.
