'WE'LL SHOCK PF'

THE UPND has promised to shock the Patriotic Front (PF) in its own strongholds, by winning the by-elections in Mwansabombwe and Lukashya Consituency.

UPND spokesperson Charles Kakoma has said people have rejected PF because it has not fulfilled its campaign promises and promised them a humiliating defeat.

However, PF Deputy Secretary-General Mumbi Phiri has also countered that UPND have no chance of winning the Lukashya...

and Mwasabombwe parliamentary seats because the people of Kasama cannot vote for a party that disrespects their Paramount Chief Chitimukulu. "UPND is getting the two parliamentary seats and there is no doubt about that, people have rejected PF because of their fake promises," Mr Kakoma said. He said people of the two constituencies have nothing to expect from them. And Ms Phiri said electorates from both Lukashya and Mwasabombwe Constituency will once again reject the UPND because it has nothing to offer. "UPND does not stand a chance of winning Lukashya Constituency seat. You can hate the manufacturer and like the cloth, people of Lukashya belong to Paramount Chief Chitimukulu whom they have been insulting day in and out so if they think they can win let them continue dreaming," Ms Phiri said. Ms Phiri said it was day dreaming for UPND to think they can win any of the two seats. She said the UPND have been rejected on several occasions and that they are heading for another humiliating defeat. Ms Phiri said people of Lukashya want development and they will not vote for a representative who will be walking out of Parliament whenever there was an important debate on the floor of the house. And Ms Phiri has urged people in the two constituencies to turn up and vote enmasse.
