- By MICHAEL MIYOBA

CAFConfederations Cup debutants NAPSA Stars has completed the signing of 2019/2020 Buildcon Football Club top scorer Chanda Mushili.

NAPSA Stars Technical Director Honour Janza confirmed the latest addition to the Pensioners squad in a statement issued by the clubs Public Relations Manager Gwen Chipasula.

Janza, who also doubles as the club’s General Manager has no doubt that Mushili will add the much needed value to the squad set to make a debut appearance in the CAF Confederations Cup.

“NAPSA Stars Football Club is delighted to announce that the club has successfully completed the signing of Chanda Mushili from Buildcon Football Club.

“Chanda is a great player. He was the top scorer for Buildcon last season and we are confident that the player will perform even better here,” said Janza.

“I am happy we have finally concluded with his transfer and I want to officially welcome Chanda to the squad.”

The striker, who has signed a three-year permanent deal with the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup debutants, becomes the fifth signing ahead of the new season set to kick off on October 31.

Mushili joins Chipolopolo and former Zanaco FC left back, Lawrence Chunga and Zimbabwean central defender Dauda Dennis who have signed two-year and three-year permanent deals respectively.

NAPSA Stars FC has continued to strengthen its squad ahead of the 2020/2021 soccer season with another addition of players such as Kenyan striker Timothy Otieno, who has signed a three-year permanent deal from Tusker FC.
