- By MICHAEL MIYOBA

PREMIER Futsal League defending champions Lusaka Automotive Futsal Academy maintained their three-point lead at the summit of the 10- team PFL table after crushing Monze George 8-1 in a Week- 6 local derby at Automotive Futsal Arena.

The win oval their rivals propelled the Andrea Christofotti-drilled side to 18-points, three points ahead of second-placed DS Isoka who moved to 15 points after beating Siavonga Beetles 7-5 in an intriguing match which produced end to end action.

Auto maintained their unbeaten record by beating Monze George while DS Isoka’s win over Beetle extended their unbeaten run to four games since losing their week- 1 fixture to Automotive.

After beating Chipata Boys 5-3 in a week five fixture, Kabwe K-Line humiliated Kafue saints 13-2 to move to second with 15 points, on par with DS Isoka who dropped to third despite having beaten Beetles.

Meanwhile, Chipata Boys redeemed themselves from a week five 5-3 defeat to Kabwe

K-Line by overcoming Kitwe Bullets 3-2 in a tightly contested match.

The win over Bullets propelled Chipata Boys to fifth position on the league table with nine points, on par with Livingstone Pirates who jumped from eighth position to sixth after edging struggling CSS Petauke 3-2.

who will be seeking redemption after the loss to Automotive Futsal Academy last weekend.

Meanwhile, Zanaco dropped their first points in the Division One league following a 3-3 stalemate with Veterans FC.
