NGOS MUTE OVER AXED INNOCENT VILLAGERS IN MUCHINGA - MWILA

...as he calls on PF structures not to be afraid of Mobilisation Committees whose mandate is to supplement their work.

- SMARTEAGLES.

PATRIOTICFront (PF) Secretary General Davies Mwila says the ruling party is disturbed that observers such as NGOs are silent over the axing of innocent villagers by UPND in Lavushi Manda, Muchinga Province.

Mr Mwila says the PF does not condone violence which has seen members found wanting appear in court.

Meanwhile, Mr Mwila says the PF mobilisation committee has to work closely with PF elected structures to market the ruling party.

Mr Mwila says elected PF structures should understand that the mobilisation committee is an adhoc committee which will be dissolved after the 2021 general elections.

He says the mobilisation committee should not be feared by elected structures because the whole idea is to ensure that PF wins next year's election.

And Mr Mwila says the PF Government has delivered visible progress from the time it came into power.

He says the PF Government has built four more Universities pushing the number from three to seven in less than ten years.

Mr Mwila says the Ministry of General Education reduced school fees from K1,200 to K200 because the Government is pro- poor.

He says 5, 000 teachers will be recruited next year to increase manpower in the education sector and reduce unemployment.

He says 650 health posts are being built across the country under a line of credit from the Indian Government of which 400 posts are now operational.

He says Government has built 19 new district hospitals with 26,000 health workers employed from the time the PF Government came into power.

Mr Mwila says the Link Zambia 8000 saw key roads such as Mongu- Kalabo, Chingola- Solwezi, Kafue- Mazabuka, Mansa- Luwingu being worked on to the satisfaction of Zambians. -
