HH MUST REPENT - NAWAKWI

- By SILUMESI MALUMO

HAKAINDEHichilema should repent so that the spirits of people he has wronged especially those who have died without receiving their pensions from the Saturnia impasse can spare him, FDD President Edith Nawakwi has said.

Ms Nawakwi said in an interview that the spirits of people the UPND president had wronged were not resting but would torment him.

“Mr Hakainde Hichilema should know that in heaven there is a supreme court and the spirits are sitting in that court and they have started to deliver their verdicts,” she said. She said Mr Hichilema through his company had allegedly swindled people out of their pensions and that many had died of depression while others were suffering.

Ms Nawakwi said she not hate Mr Hichilema did but was only condemning his ill conduct towards innocent people.

“He will not have peace unless he repents and voluntarily hand back the property and money of the deceased persons. It looks like Hakainde’s greed has no limits and has no age. What Hakainde has done to many people is inexcusable.

“What Hakainde has done is a sin. My advice is that let him own up and say he made mistakes, when you make mistakes and repent people are always sympathetic and they can excuse you. This kind of behaviour, is a behaviour of a person who has no heart,” she said.

She said she did not expect a wealthy leader to behave like he had done for years, throwing people into destitution.

Ms Nawakwi said: “The Bible is very clear thou shall not take even a spoon from an orphan. How can this person become a leader of all orphans if he can mistreat people?

“I think Mr Hichilema should kneel down and pray and people of this country should pray for him because the spirits of the deceased at Agro American, people who he had harassed, mistreated are sitting in supreme court of heaven and the verdict is not looking very good.

Ms Nawakwi added: “There is time to repent and all I can say as a sister please my brother repent and give back what belongs to dead people and those still living.”

I think Mr Hichilema should kneel down and pray and people of this country should pray for him because the spirits of the deceased at Agro American, people who he had harassed, mistreated are sitting in supreme court of heaven and the verdict is not looking very good.
