- By MICHAEL MIYOBA

NAPSA Stars most valuable player during the

2019/2020 MTN/FAZ Super Division Collins Sikombe has ditched the

CAF Confederations Cup envoys after signing a lucrative deal to rejoin Lusaka Dynamos.

NAPSA Stars Technical

Director, Honour Janza, confirmed Sikombe’s move to Dynamos after the player handed in a transfer request to rejoin the team he left in 2018.

Janza hailed the player for helping the pensioners to qualify for the CAF Competition during a season he finished as the club’s top scorer.

“The club wants to express its profound gratitude to the player who has proved to be one of the best in Zambia and marked one of the brightest times in the history of the club.

“Apart from being our last season’s top scorer,

Sikombe helped the team to reach where it is now including securing a place in the CAF Confederation

Cup,” Janza said.

“In as much as we would have loved to still have the player around, his will always come first and we respect what he wants. We wish him all the best as he starts his new journey with

Lusaka Dynamos,” he added.

The move comes a few days after the FIFA disciplinary committee lifted the transfer ban imposed on

Lusaka Dynamos on November 7 over Mohammed

Muntari Tagoe’s unpaid allowances.

Dynamos have been busy since the ban was lifted and have also signed

Chipolopolo striker Emmanuel Chabula who signed a two-year deal with the club.
