The squad which comprises mostly players who featured during the preparatory fixtures against Malawi, South Africa and Ethiopia will be led by Red Bull Salzburg star man Enock Mwepu who is from enjoying UEFA champions league football with the Austrian giants.

Mwepu’s team mate at Salzburg Patson Daka has been left out as he is still nursing a hamstring injury he picked when Red Bull Salzburg played Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid in one of the Champions league fixtures.

Meanwhile, the Tanzanian duo of Cletus Chama and Obrey Chirwa who were dropped during last month’s friendlies for allegedly missing two flights have also been left out while the former Orlando Pirates duo of Justin Shonga and Augustin Mulenga have made it back into the Chipolopolo squad.

Other notable players left out include Captain Kabaso Chongo and former Black Leopards striker Mwape Musonda who recently moved to Hatta Club in the United Arab Emirates after he impressed in the South African Premier Soccer league.

In goal, Micho has summoned Lameck Siame, Allan Chibwe, Sebastian Mwange and Jackson Kakunta while snubbing Cyril Mwenya Chibwe who is currently the first- choice goalkeeper at Polokwane City in the South African premier league.

In midfield, Mwepu will have to combine with young Klings Kangwa, Kelvin Kapumbu, Leonard Mulenga and Chaniza Zulu.

Upfront, local stars such as Emmanuel Chabula, Bruce Musakanya and Collins Sikombe will compete for places against players such as Fashion Sakala, Gampani Lungu, Evans Kangwa and Lubambo Musonda.

The team consisting of ten foreign players is set to regroup on November 8th for the back to back Afcon qualifiers against the Zebras of Botswana.
