Monze George face K-line test

AFTER thumping Siavonga Beetles 8-4 last weekend, Monze George Futsal Club return to action this afternoon when they take on giants Kabwe K-Line in a week-nine Premier Futsal League fixture at Automotive Futsal Arena.

The Witson Nyirenda drilled Monze side will fight for a win knowing that maximum three points will propel them to 15 points on the 10- team PFL league table.

However it is a tough challenge for the Witson Nyirenda drilled side who will be facing one of the toughest sides in the league with only one defeat and occupies second position with 21 points, three points behind leaders Lusaka Automotive.

Meanwhile, Automotive will seek to finish the first half of the season unbeaten when they take on struggling Kafue Saints.

Automotive are the favorites going into this fixture having been motivated with the 11-0 thumping of CCS Petauke last weekend.

After beating Kafue Saints

6-5 to move to 12-points on the league table, Chipata Boys are scheduled to meet DS Isoka who are coming from a 2-1 win over Kitwe Bullets.

Bullets have a tricky date against Livingstone Pirates who are also seeking redemption after they were stunned 6-4 by Kabwe K-Line last weekend as Siavonga Beetles are set to face Petauke who will be searching for their first win having lost all their matches since the league commenced in September.

In Division One, Futsal League action returns with table toppers, Pioneer Avengers taking on BS Stars while second placed Zanaco will play Efford Chabala FC.

DS Academy will seek redemption from last week’s 8-3 defeat to Lilanda Bullets when they face Blue Bombas as AJ United face Bullets.

Veterans date Christian Academy as Bil FC are set to play Tamanga Juldan with all matches slated for Sunday at Automotive Futsal Arena.
