THE electorate must not only consider the message of aspiring candidates but also examine the character and the relationship of the particular candidate with the community, Patriotic Front (PF) Kamfinsa constituency aspiring candidate Kelvin Chipili has said.

He said the electorate must consider all the aspects about aspiring candidates for the 2021 general elections so that they could make a right decision whether that person was capable of serving them to their expectation

Mr Chipili said various aspiring candidates will come with attractive messages to the electorate, but it was up to the people to scrutinise whether such messages were in line with the character of the person delivering them.

He was speaking after he handed over K5,000 to Catholic Holy Family Choir of St Peter the Apostle, Ndeke parish in Kitwe for the purchase of the 55 members’ uniforms. Is he ready to make personal sacrifices for the people? Does he have respect for ordinary people?" Mr Chipili said.

Earlier, Holy Family Choir chairperson, Isaac Lungu, said the group was formed in October 2017 and has 55 members, comprising elderly women and men.
