MY CASINO ‘RAID’ AT 2AM TODAY Covid 19 guidelines
Dear editor,
Lastnight around midnight I inspected Kanyama Constituency for Covid 19 Guidelines adherence and indeed most pubs were closed except one called Eliba that had a few patrons. I gave them masks and spoke to the manager present to wind up and close. He obliged.
Then randomly on my way from Kanyama using Lumumba road, I noticed a lot of vehicles at the Great
Wall Casino. I stopped and inspected inside. There were a lot of people and possibly over 50 in gambling sessions.
I asked the manager that they close instant. He was very uncooperative, rude and physically harassed one of the Boba TV crew who was and always do carry my night operations live. I actually lost my cool and very happy now that I did not evoke my Matero minimal 'reserves' left in me on the expatriate Casino manager.
This morning I recommended to the relevant officials at LCC to suspend the Trading License of the Casino that is proudly contravening all various Covid 19 guidelines. The relevant official that is responsible for all Council night patrols seen closing
Bars in the compounds is a Mr
Edward Mulwanda (Director of Health). I told him to avail me by 2pm a Copy of suspension of the LCC Trading License for this Casino until they exculpate themselves.

It's 6pm and he has NOT done so. Clear defiance.
Anyone ever wondered why I used to grab licences myself off walls for law breaking entrepreneurs in the City?
Anyways for anything hereon on Casinos in the City that are operating ubushiku (past 23hrs), please call the Relevant officials at LCC.
