Yenga, Tembo reconcile
PATRIOTIC Front controversial Kabwata aspiring candidates Danny Yenga and Clement Tembo have reconciled after intervention by the party leadership.
The two had started sending tantrums at each other through social media as they both geared up for the Kabwata seat.
Kabwata Constituency chairman Trevor Ng'andu advised the two aspiring candidates to reconcile and conduct their campaigns in a manner that would not destabilize the party in the constituency.
Mr Ng'andu observed that of late, the two camps have been involved in bitter exchange of words through their various social media platforms.
He also observed that there has been increasing hard talk and character assassination between the two camps.
Mr Ng’andu warned that he would not tolerate anyone who would bring the name of the party and the President into disrepute.
He said that the trend must come to an end for the purpose of uniting the party and anyone who abrogates the directive would immediately be disciplined. "The two camps have had a bad working relationship and I am here by directing that this must come to an end. In
Kabwata we will not allow character assassination and no candidate will be allowed to destroy the party.
Mr Ng'andu also ordered the two candidates to immediately remove the brand from their vehicles because none of them has been adopted and the campaign period has not
yet started elections.
Meanwhile, the two aspiring candidates promised during a meeting with Mr Ng’andu where they were both present that they would conduct their campaigns in a manner that would not destroy the name of the party. for the August 12
