I HAVE a question. What is the idea behind Hakainde Hichilema's sourcing of US$25.8 billion from his business partners in United States of America in 2019 which according to his story will make Zambia's economy recover?
Will this action not mark the end of Zambia as a sovereign state? Zambia has a total credit of US$11 billion including those of the Chinese, which is between US$3-US$4 billion.
But HH alone as individual/businessman has sourced US$25.8 billion from Washington. A difference of US$14 billion more of the total difference on loans the country has borrowed?
This means the country's natural resources including copper mines will be placed in the hands of capitalist imperialists.
Those investors HH has lobbied from this huge amount of money single handedly without involving government are nothing but his business partners using him. That is why HH and his UPND members are against the ECL/Government deal with Mopani Copper Mines.
HH and the UPND opposes borrowing heavily by the Zambian government especially from China while he wants to bring 2 US$25.8 billion to be invested in Zambia from his business partners in America and Europe.
This deal according to HH himself is already sealed. They are only waiting for him to become republican president. Now, how long will his investors stay in Zambia to take back their money plus profits? Will it not be 100 years?
After those many years, how many of Zambia’s resources will remain? And who are those investors HH single handedly has sourced this money from? What are the conditions attached to this colossal amount?
What is their areas of interest? Only HH knows. HH is a businessman/private citizen but whom did consult on behalf of the Zambian government? Who has authorised HH to look for investors alone those who will be known after he becomes President of Zambia? an
Zambians, can’t you smell a rat? Educated youths and educated Zambian adults, wake up. HH has already privatised your country to Anglo-American Corporation.
This is one of the imperialists companies interested so much in Zambia's rich minerals since the UPND was formed by Anderson Mazoka. Angolo American Corporation helped form UPND and have remained one of the biggest funders of HH and the party since then.
Their sole purpose on these funds they help HH/ UPND campaigns since it was formed, is to come sell them copper mines by HH. The deal has been already done. This is the more reason why UPND has no manifesto. And this is the other reason why HH has insisted of remaining president of UPND despite losing five times. He represents a cartel of capitalist imperialists friends from western countries.
When President Edgar Lungu sealed a deal with Mopani Copper Mines recently, HH/ UPND dream of selling those copper mines to their friends and to come have shares in them have been shattered hence calling ECL and the PF government all sorts of names such as “Niba kabolala, they are corrupt, they have destroyed the economy etc.”
HH knows very well that poor performance of Zambia's economy has come because of the evil poor planned privatisation of State companies he was part of. Some of these economic woes are just products or off-shoots of the poor planned privatisation.
UPND is using their heavily funded social media propaganda machinery on the PF government by the same imperialists - Anglo-American Corporation and others who are interested in buying Zambia.
Chishimba Kambwili and other opposition leaders, do not fall into the trap which HH/ UPND has set up of selling Zambia to capitalist imperialists by blinding you to be part of the evil Opposition Alliance which HH's vuvuzelas Charles Milupi and others are drumming up for support. Milupi is being used by HH.
Zambians don’t come and vote for UPND and HH on 12, this year.
That vote for HH and his UPND will only help him sell your rich country to imperialists and HH himself. Your children and youths will remain slaves and will suffer forever at the cruel hands of these imperialists capitalists.
Your country will no longer be yours. lt will be sold to the imperialists including land, the Presidential jet and many important Zambian assets and important companies like Zesco.
