ZANACO, PRISONS LOCK HORNS

ZANACO will be facing a team with the most stingy defence in the Super Division with Prison Leopards having allowed only eight goals from the first 15 matches played so far.

Having been boosted with the return of league top scorer Moses Phiri, the Chris Kaunda-drilled “Bankers” are the favourite’s going into today’s match against Mwenya Chipo’s boys who have struggled to compete in their away games.

Meanwhile, in the first fixture of the double header at Sunset Stadium, struggling Green Buffaloes will seek redemption when they host strugglers Kitwe United.

In other Super Division matches, Lumwana Radiants will face Indeni at Independen­ce Stadium in Solwezi while Forest Rangers will be at home against Green Eagles who are seeking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to Lusaka Dynamos. Rangers will seek maximum points without their star players who have been ruled out due to injuries. Masauso Zimba sustained a groin injury during Forest’s last game at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium against Lumwana Radiants and will return on Monday.

Midfielder, Laurent Muma has not been training as he is bedridden with Malaria while Cedric Djeugoue sustained a hamstring injury during the derby against Indeni last week and has not been able to train with the team.

At Khosa Stadium, struggling Young Green Eagles will want to recover from a 4-0 bashing by Nkana when they take on Zesco United while Kabwe Warriors and Red Arrows will face off at Godfrey “Ucar” Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.

Tomorrow’s league action will see Buildcon hosting Nkana at Levy Mwanawasa in Ndola while stuttering NAPSA Stars will face Nkwazi in a Lusaka derby at Nkoloma Stadium.

In the second fixture of the double header at Nkoloma Stadium, Lusaka Dynamos will play Power Dynamos.
