Monze George itching for revenge

AFTER being humiliated 8-1 in a Week-6 Premier Futsal League (PFL) match played in October last year, Monze George seek revenge when they face league leaders Automotive in a Week-15 game at Automotive Futsal Arena.

Automotive remain unbeaten in the PFL and everyone will be hoping that Monze George can do what no club has managed to do which is to beat the league leaders this season.

The Witson Nyirenda-coached Monze George will surely fight for a win knowing it will propel them to third on the 10-team PFL table.

The Andrea Christoforeti-coached Auto dominate the PFL with 42 points, six points ahead of second-placed Kabwe K-Line who are on 36 points.

Auto are also 21 points ahead of Monze George and a win in today’s game will maintain Automotive’s six points lead at the summit of the PFL table.

Meanwhile, after being ejected from the PFL Cup Kabwe K-Line continue their PFL title chase with a clash against relegation bound Kafue Saints who boast of having only one win in the league.

Chipata Boys will try to make amends when they take on Kitwe Bullets to bounce back from a 8-3 beating by K-Line in the last league game.

However Chipata face a Bullets side that is also determined to win today’s match to bounce back from last week’s 7-2 defeat to Automotive FC.

Livingstone Pirates host CSS Petauke with one aim which is to recover from a 9-5 defeat inflicted by Monze George on match day 13.

Siavonga Beetles are guaranteed of three points as they were scheduled to play suspended DS Isoka FC.

In the national division one league, Zanaco host Veterans as Bil FC are scheduled to play Mthunzi FC. Pioneer Avengers and BS Stars Lilanda Bullets and Christian Academy respectively while Efford Chabala take on Blue Bombers.
