‘ALL POLITICAL ALLIANCES INVOLVING HH CRUMBLE’
Lusambo canes ‘selfish’ HH
ZAMBIANS must analyse why all political alliances involving opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema crumble within a short time, Patriotic Front (PF) Copperbelt mobilization coordinator Bowman Lusambo has said.
Mr Lusambo observed that apart from failing to sustain alliances, Mr Hchilema has also failed to work with seven vice-presidents from the time he took over the opposition party.
Mr Lusambo, who is Kabushi Member of Parliament (MP) and Lusaka province Minister, was speaking in Kitwe at the weekend during a mobilization meeting at Buchi Hall.
He said even in marriage, a man who in the habit of divorcing and re-marrying was always perceived to be a problem in the community.
"Every time we are heading towards election, you hear Hakainde Hichilema talking about alliances. Unfortunately, these alliances where Mr Hichilema is involved are always collapsing. So ask yourselves why?
"He has also failed to work with seven vice presidents since he took over the political party. So what kind of a person is he? Ask yourselves those questions before you jump to support him," Mr Lusambo said.
Mr Lusambo said the PF would remain the only political party with a national character and desire to achieve economic recovery and national development.
He said the PF had continued to promote unity and focus on issues that would address the various challenges the country was facinga.
And Mr Lusambo said he was happy that former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretary General Mwenya Musenge was part of the ruling party mobilization team.
