AVOID POLITICIANS LINKED TO CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES – PF ASPIRANT
ZAMBIANSmust be careful about giving leadership to politicians linked to suspected criminal activities like the abduction of some members of the Hatembo family because such people if given power would end up doing more harm to the nation,'' Patriotic Front (PF) Ndola Central aspiring candidate Andrew Mustard Kalima has said.
Mr Kalima said Zambians should follow with keen interest the case where some opposition politicians have been linked to abduction of some members of the Hatembo family so that they could make their own conclusion regarding some people aspiring to form government
In an interview in Ndola yesterday, Mr Kalima said the arrogance exhibited by those linked to the abduction of the members of the Hatembo family was raising more questions than answers hence the need for Zambians to take keen interest in the matter
"Allegations of abducting individuals are serious and must be followed with keen interest by Zambians especially that some of those linked to the abduction are politicians aspiring to form government in the August elections.
"So before giving power to such people, Zambians must think twice because giving power to such people could be dangerous to our country because people might start disappearing,'' Mr Kalima said
And Mr Kalima has said, once elected Ndola Central Member of Parliament, he would strive to empower youths and women through practical cooperatives and lobby for employment opportunities for youths in the local industry
Mr Kalima also said he will work on expanding and upgrading clinics to mini-hospital levels and also improving water and sanitation infrastructure in areas which may have water problems
He urged the residents to vote for President Edgar Lungu in the August 2021 elections because he was a humble, calm empathetic and practical leader and has never been linked to abduction
He said Zambians must not be driven by emotions, but must look at the calibre of leadership in PF and that of the UPND which was driven by bitterness, hatred, falsehoods and propaganda.
"The UPND has found the social media as a suitable and appropriate platform where it can vent its frustration by insulting the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) leaders and mislead the nation through propaganda,'' Mr Kalima said
