Muchinga PF forgives ‘wayward’ members

- By SANFROSSA MANYINDA

THEPatriotic Front (PF) in Muchinga Province has extended an olive branch to those that left the ruling party.

Muchinga provincial mobilisation coordinator, Protasio Makangala, said the ruling party was more than ready to welcome those that were contemplating getting back to the “family.”

Mr Makangala said there was no need for the old members to look around and see who was watching and feel ashamed of going back

He said in an interview that we as the ruling party have no problem working and accommodating our friends that had left us and now want to come back.

“We have already been directed by our leaders in the party to go flat out and ensure that we bring back those that left the part for various reasons and ensure that President Lungu and the PF wins the August 12 general elections with a landslide victory,”

"We have already been directed by our leaders in the party to go flat out and ensure that we bring back those that left the part for various reasons and ensure that President Lungu and the PF wins the August 12 general elections with a landslide victory."

Mr Makangala urged members as well as the candidates for various positions to concentrate on mobilising the party and ensure that President Lungu retained the presidency.

He also advised voters to look out for political parties that tried to lie to them that they would give them luxury lives when all they wanted was to ride on the PF's developmental agenda.

Mr Makangala said there was no need for voters to give chance to such people especially that the developmental projects that the PF Government had done across the country were visible.

He said the PF was the only party that cared about the needs of the people, stating that there was no reason to change leadership of the country.

Meanwhile, Mr Makangala said presidents of other political parties that wanted to contest with President Lungu on the ballot were just wasting their time and resources because there was no wind of change.
