WE WON’T VOTE FOR FREE MASONS - BIGOCA

- By NATION REPORTER

WEare not going to vote for people who promote homosexuality, lesbianism, and are free masons because Zambia has matured as a Christian nation, says BIGOCA general overseer, Archbishop Peter Ndhlovu.

The archbishop said God would not allow bitter and vengeful people to rule over Zambia because such leaders have the potential to compromise the national Christian values.

Archbishop Ndhlovu said in an interview that Zambia as a Christian nation would ensure that it upholds Christian values by voting for a leader who is God-fearing and was willing to work with the church.

The cleric said political leaders who have time and again refused to heed the church's advice have no support from the church which was a key stakeholder and makes about 85 percent of the vote. “Zambia has matured as a Christian nation, we are not going to vote for leaders who promote homosexuality

We are not going to vote for those who are promoting lesbianism, we are not voting for people who are Free Masons why do I say so, because this is a Christian nation, we need to go by Christian values,” he said.

Archbishop Ndlovu also said political leaders who are busy promising that they would fix the economy were lying to the nation because there was nothing broken in the country that needed to be fixed.

He urged such politicians to stop cheating the people that there was a wind of change in the country.

“And you can’t say I will fix, what will you fix, what is not broken, you can only fix what is broken and let people not cheat themselves that there is the wind of change at the moment, there is no wind of change, what we can see is what we believe in,” Archbishop Ndlovu said.
