UPND SCOFFS AT ‘TRAMAUTISED’ M’MEMBE

- By ANDREW MUKOMA

THEUPND Alliance in Southern Province has advised Socialist Party leader Fred M'membe to desist from attacking it but instead concentrate on selling his party.

The party said regardless of how much propaganda the Socialist Party leader would use on the UPND, it was determined to form government after August 12, this year.

Provincial spokesperson, Neto Halwabala, observed that the party was set to restore decency in Zambia and take care of disadvantaged people including the Socialist Party leader.

"We have tried to resist from responding to Fred M’membe's hallucinations on our president Hakainde Hichilema because we feel for him and praying that he repents from his contibutions to divide Zambia.

"The man is traumatised after his Post Newspaper was closed which made him think was a chief maker in Zambian politics.

"Fred M'membe's attack on us in the opposition is a clear indication that he has been a beneficiary of political mediocrity, violence, and damaged economy," Mr Halwabala said.

He said that the Socialist Party leader had realised that UPND Alliance in government would bring decency in the country.

Mr Halwabala said no one would be disadvantaged because there will be equal opportunities when UPND forms government in August.

"UPND Alliance is unstoppable now and this is the more reason why Fred M’membe has turned against it. Instead of fighting PF that left him a destitute and instil confidence in the Zambians, he is busy decampaigning himself.

"We urge our members across the province not to listen to Mr M’membe's hallucinations and focus on change coming," Mr Halwabala said.
