Go back to music, Saboi told
SABOI Imboela must get back to her music career where her contribution will be appreciated instead of continuing to expose her mediocre political leadership in the National Democratic Congress (NDC),' Kitwe District NDC Chairperson Angel Kombe has said.
But Ms Imboela said it would be a waste of time responding to Mr Kombe who has no grade 12 certificate and cannot write his name properly.
Mr Kombe said from the time she was appointed NDC Vice-President, Ms Imboela had continued to expose mediocre leadership which was not inspirational in the political scene.
Ms Imboela made an impact in the music industry during her dual performance in the Shatel outfit.
He said because of the mediocre leadership of Ms Imboela, more than 100 NDC members had decided ditched the Saboi Imboela-NDC to join Jo
seph Rikki Akafumba NDC faction.
"The best thing Ms Imboela should do, is to go back to her music career where her contribution will be appreciated instead of wasting time in the political scene where she was exhibiting mediocre leadership,'' Mr Kombe said.
Earlier, Nkana constituency NDC Chairman Chanda Chanda said they had decided to ditch Saboi Imboela NDC to join the Akafumba faction because
Ms Imboela had failed to provide leadership.
Mr Chanda said two parliamentary candidates and nine for local government had lost the elections, not because they were not popular, but because of Ms Imboela’s poor ;eadership.
"Last time when I was told that we should join Mr Akafumba, I refused but today, I have decided to join Mr Akafumba because I am tired of the mediocre leadership of Ms Imboela.
"After the elections, Ms Imboela told us to mobilise funds and pay our polling agents. This is poor leadership and we can't continue to be part of this poor leadership,'' Mr Chanda said
But Ms Imboela said it would be a waste of time responding to Mr Kombe who has no grade 12 certificate and cannot write his name properly.
Ms Imboela wondered who was a mediocre leader between Mr Kombe who cannot even write his name properly and herself who was an artiste, an activist, a lecturer of political science.
