Mwiinde is Forests new ranger

…as Green Eagles sign seven players

FOREST Rangers has continued to beef up ahead of the new Super League season kicking off tomorrow and have announced the signing of former Nkana striker Emmanuel Mwiinde who has signed a two-year deal with the Ndola outfit.

The former under-20 star who has featured for Buildcon FC said he was looking forward to make a debut for Malembe, a team he scored against when he played for Nkana last season.

“I am so excited to be part of the Malembe family and I can't wait for my big debut with this big club. Most of all I am really looking forward to seeing the Forest supporters." said Mwiinde

"I scored against Forest at Nkana and the respect I received from Forest meant a lot to me, so when I was approached by the club I did not hesitate,”

Rangers have also signed striker Erick Chomba on a oneyear loan deal from Nkwazi FC while Zimbabwean internatio­nal Tanaka Chinyahara has signed a two-year deal with the Ndola outfit. Meanwhile,

Green Eagles Football Club has acquired the services of seven players on permanent basis in a quest to beef up its squad ahead of the 2021-2022 MTN/ FAZ Super League.

Club public relations officer Faith Kaira confirmed in a statement that the Choma outfit has acquired the services of striker Simon Mulenga and midfielder Nsofwa Mwansa from Nkana and Buildcon respective­ly.

Kaira noted that Eagles have also signed right back Jimmy Nakena from Lumwana Radi

ants while, goal keeper Reegan Simango has joined from Lusaka Dynamos.

Defender, Shapy Chikondi, midfielder Passmore Mwise and Elvis Lumbwe from National Assembly, Zambeef Football Developmen­t and Young Riders are among the 34-member squad registered by Green Eagles for the 2021/2022 soccer season.

Meanwhile, Eagles have released midfielder Joseph Mwindilila, striker Ronald Chibwe and defenders Benson Nzuma and Matthews Ngoma.
