UPND has spent over one month waffling and witch-hunting without a clear roadmap and capacity to deliver campaign promises, the Patriotic Front (PF) has said.

PF Kitwe district chairman, Evaristo Chilufya, charged that the UPND has failed to lay a foundation of fulling campaign promises because it was more preoccupied with witch-hunting and retribution.

In an interview in Kitwe, Mr Chilufya said, while the UPND leadership was reading nice speeches, the practical aspect left much to be desired because it was still struggling to

RIVERS FOR THE SUSTAINABLE ZAMBIAlay a firm foundation for economic recovery and national development He said the government was busy pursuing former government leaders while farmers were waiting for delivery of fertiliser and other agricultural inputs Mr Chilufya said additionally that UPND cadres were torturing PF youths and assaulting police officers while government leaders paid lip-service to peace.

He said Zambians were not interested in retribution, but were interested to see that government deliver agricultural inputs on time and reduction of fertiliser price to K250 per bag as promised.

Zambians, he said, were also eager to see government implement free education, youth employment and stabilise the Kwacha against convertible currencies.

"These are some of the promises which the UPND made during the election campaigns and so Zambians are eagerly waiting to see these campaigns to be fulfilled. From the way things have been moving, the UPND seem to lack a road map and capacity to deliver.

Meanwhile, Mr Chilufya has advised the PF members of central committee to desist from positing voice notes on social media, but to sit and talk in order to resolve their differences.

He said sending voice notes on social media was a recipe for division in the party where members had been loyal and waiting for guidance from the top leadership on the next move.

Mr Chilufya was reacting to a voice note in which PF losing presidential running mate Professor Nkandu Luo differed with former Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili over the party presidency.

He said senior party officials should not wash dirty linen in public because such kind of politics was exciting enemies of the party who wanted to see confusion in the former ruling party.
