SENSATIONAL Zanaco FC coach Kelvin Kaindu says he is worried with the way the bankers are conceding goals in the MTN/FAZ Super League.

The bankers who started the Super League with a 2-0 loss to Green Buffaloes on Wednesday were made to look like an ordinary side by ‘Blades’ who looked more coordinated and scored two unanswered goals to beat the

Lusaka outfit.

Two first half goals from striker Owen Tembo and Christian Mpoyi gifted Blades their second win of the season after an impressive performance over the Kelvin Kaindu’s side which was reduced to ten men.

Speaking after recording a second consecutive Super League defeat, Kaindu said two straight defeats were not healthy for the CAF envoys.

Kaindu said there is need for the bankers to improve on their approach to bounce back from the two consecutive defeats in the local league. “We need to improve on our approach but today we looked better in the way we started the game. We had chances in the first half though we did not capitalise on them and when we decided to come back into the game in the second half we had a red card in the 50th minute which made it difficult for us,” Kaindu said.

Kaindu noted the need for the bankers to learn to balance the squad to be able to impress in both the local league and the CAF Champions League.

“You need to balance in the way that you structure the team. We have done well in all the three international games we have played and managed to win but what is worrying is in the local league, maybe sometimes players will try to reserve themselves to be selected for the away games,” Kaindu observed.
