Lusambo ordered out of Parliament

KABUSHI law maker Bowman Lusambo was yesterday ejected from Parliament for breaching the decorum and etiquette of the House.

This was after Monze Member of Parliament and Home Affairs Minister Jack Mwiimbu rose on a point of order on whether Mr Lusambo was in order to walk out of parliament when the speakers was still addressing him.

In her ruling the madam speaker said Mr. Lusambo was not in order to walkout on the presiding officer and subsequently directed him to leave the House so that he could continue with his behavior outside.

“In order to continue with the decorum and the dignity of the house, the Member of parliament for Kabushi will be excused from the sitting of today so that he can go and vent his anger outside and not in this house,” said the Speaker before ordering Mr Lusambo to leave the house.

During the vice president’s question time, Mr. Lusamba wanted to ask a question but some members of parliament mainly from the UPND were passing running commentaries which angered him.

Mr Lusambo said the UPND MPs who were running commentaries should grow up and stop behaving as though they were still in opposition.

As Mr Lusambo was speaking the Speaker directed he take a seat, a move which angered him further and he walked out of the parliament.

Mr Lusmbo said President Hichilema has been on many foras promising the people of Zambia that he was going to run a cost effective government and wondered why the Head of State has continued recalling diplomats at a time the country has no money to pay them their dues.

He said President Hichilema has recalled some ambassadors and some support stuff at Zambian embassies and very soon he will be appointing new office bearers.
