GREENBuffaloes turned on the style with striker Fridays Samu putting up a five-star performance and scored five goals as they opened an eigh- point lead at the summit of the MTN/FAZ Super League after humiliating hapless Indeni FC 5-0 in a Week-7 fixture at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.

Indeni were no match for the Justin Chinama-coached Zambia Army side who dominated play from the first whistle.

Samu started the rout and gave Buffaloes the lead just five minutes after kick off before he completed a brace in the 17th minute.

Buffaloes went on break with a comfortable 2-0 lead and came back more strongly in the second stanza with Samu completing a hat- trick four minutes into the second half.

Samu could not stop scoring in the second half as he added his fourth goal in the 72nd minute before his fifth which came in the 75th minute to receive a standing ovation from the fans.

While his goal tally rose to eight goals after seven rounds of matches, Samu helped Buffaloes to move to 19 points, eight points ahead of second-placed Buildcon FC who will face Nkwazi FC today in Ndola.

Meanwhile, Kitwe giants Nkana FC and Zesco United will renew their rivalry with a clash at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe today.

Rejuvenated by the 2-0 win over Kabwe Warriors on Wednesday, Zesco United will need another win to redeem their chances of defending the league title.

However, they face a wounded Kalampa outfit seeking to recover from a shocking 1-0 defeat to Zanaco FC on Saturday.

At Independence Stadium in Choma, Eagles will host struggling Kabwe Warriors while Konkola Blades will face Chambishi at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.

Kafue Celtics will host Kansanshi Dynamos at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka while tomorrow’s Super League action will see Power Dynamos hosting Lusaka Dynamos at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
