HH OPENING UP ZAMBIA’S ECONOMY TO MASSIVE 15 INVESTMENT, SAYS C/BELT MINISTER
PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema is opening up Zambia’s economy to encourage massive investments with a strategy for employment and job creation through a robust private sector growth, Copperbelt Minister, Elisha Matambo, has said.
Mr Matambo said President Hichilema was encouraging massive investments with a strategy for employment and job creation through a robust private sector growth, particularly the growth of the Small and Medium Entrepreneurs(SMEs) as the most powerful driver of job creation for the youths.
The Copperbelt Minister was speaking in Chingola when visited the district to interact with the local youths who are looking for jobs in the area.
Mr Matambo informed the youths that government was working hard to ensure that every youth who needs a job must find one and that those who are interested in business must also have business opportunities.
“I must inform you that the New Dawn government of
President Hakainde Hichilema is working day and night to ensure that every youth who a job needs must find one and that those who are interested in business must also have business opportunities.
“President Hichilema is opening up Zambia’s economy to encourage massive investments with a strategy for employment and job creation through a robust private sector growth, particularly the growth of the SMES as the most powerful driver of job creation for the youths,’’ Mr Matambo said.
Mr Matambo also highlighted to the
Youths, the components of the Constituency Development Funds (CDF) for empowerment and encouraged them to apply for the funds as well as other empowerment programmes in various ministries such as the Ministry of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs .
The Copperbelt Minister also toured Mimbula Mineral resources Limited, a mining firm on the Copperbelt where he was happy with the massive investment the company has put up and the provision of employment to the locals.
