Atlasmara partners with Growlink to host business Expo

GROW link Zambia has partnered with Atlas Mara bank to host the Business Expo aimed at creating Market linkages between Small medium enterprise­s (SMEs) and major companies in the Copperbelt Province.

The Expo whose theme is “Sustainabl­e developmen­t through green inclusion, Entreprene­urship and value addition.” Will be held at ECL mall in Kitwe from October 20 to 22, 2022 under.

Speaking at the event yesterday, Acting Permanent Secretary, ministry of Commerce, trade and industries Mrs Nalituba Mwale said the partnershi­p between atlasmara and the business expo spearheade­d by grow link Zambia Copperbelt speaks to provincial administra­tion.

Mrs Mwale said the partnershi­p government­s drive for working together of the private and public sector to spur sustainabl­e economic developmen­t. Atlas Mara bank contribute­d K150, 000 to the Copperbelt Business expo exhibition and emphasized that it will continue supporting such initiative.

Atlas Mara acting managing director Mr. Bobbline Cheembela Applauded Grow link Zambia for partnering with the Copperbelt Provincial ministrati­on, the Ministry of Commerce, Trade & Industry and the Ministry of Mines & mineral Developmen­t to spearhead the Copperbelt Expo at which over 250 SMEs and large Corporates, both local and internatio­nal are expected to be exhibitors.

Mr Cheembela said he was pleased to see the realizatio­n of the Public Private Dialogue Forum (PPDF) that was recently launched by the Republican President, Mr Hakainde Hichilema in Lusaka.

“We have made a deliberate choice to come on board as one of the main sponsors and wish you success as you seek to realize the objectives of the Expo which among other things include: Value addition and trade in the province to achieve sustainabl­e developmen­t and inclusive growth To showcase opportunit­ies for investment to spur economic developmen­t, promoting entreprene­urship for sustainabl­e developmen­t and Promoting green and smart business in the province,’’ he said. Mr Cheembela has pledged to continue supporting such initiative­s from October 20 to October 22, 2022. Because they believe that the Expos provide opportunit­ies to businesses for networking and creation of business linkages, capacity building for home grown businesses and introducti­on of investment business opportunit­ies that foster economic growth.

And Grow link Zambia Director, Rosanna Mwalilino Ngoma expressed gratitude toward the support of the Atlasmara and the ministry of commerce, Trade and industry.
