The Zambia we should want

-

I LOVE hustlers! I hate bad news. For that reason, I hate attending funerals for prolonged periods. For that reason, I chose economics against medicine because I’m not brave enough to see people suffering! Medical doctors are brave people.

This past week although occasioned with unnecessary arrests has been lit for Zambia. We saw Barcelona jet in to play against a team we shall forever remember - The Afcon winning team.

Koffi Olomide also jetted in and the event was also packed to capacity. On Sunday, Yo Maps filled the stadium! That’s the Zambia we want.

As Zambians, we need to organise more such events to give the population something to feel good about. A happy nation is a very productive nation.

Going forward, we need to ensure that we continue supporting citizens in wealth creation. Citizens with money are happy citizens. Let’s promote more of fun than bad news! More of love and less of hatred!

Kudos to the organisers of the Barcelona -Zambia game! Kudos to the organisers for the Koffi Olomide concert! And much respect to Yo Maps who has braved the PhD syndrome to organiset his wonderful event! And it was a success! We definitely love from rags to riches stories!

Let’s hustle so that we can enjoy life! Those that are in the habit of killing other people’s joy, repent!

Each person has their own destiny. You can’t brighten your destiny by dimming other people’s destiny!

The media and politicians should also going forward give us only good news! We are tired of hate speech and public arguments! They kill our mood and make us sad! You don’t own Zambia alone! As citizens all we want is to be happy!

Let’s hustle ladies and gentlemen. Institutions created to ensure we create wealth should also remember that we created them. Let’s not hinder each other’s progress.

Let’s also have respect for each other’s properties! People suffer to acquire wealth. Let us be our brother’s keepers!

Remember to take a little wine for your stomach!
