IGNORE SAMPA, NAKACINDA TELLS MUFULIRA PF COUNCILLORS
THE Patriotic Front (PF) has instructed its councillors in Mufulira to ignore with contempt it deserves a letter by expelled Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa’s surrogate called Daniel Chibale, purporting to have suspected 15 civic leaders for supporting an independent candidate in a ward by-election in the area. Raphael Nakacinda, the PF secretary general said Mr Sampa is nothing but a masquerader whose criminal acts were unfortunately being supported and protected by the State and his actions in the PF should be ignored.
Mr Nakacinda said the 15 councillors Mr Sampa is purported to have suspended shall continue to perform their civic duties and that no one shall interfere because they were voted to serve the people in their respective wards.
Miles Sampa is not a PF member. He was expelled and he has never challenged the expulsion. So, he is only masquerading and impersonating which is a criminal offence. But we know and we are aware that his impunity is being supported by the State. However, we urge our 15 councillors in Mufulira
purportedly suspended by Mr Sampa to ignore the letter. Let them continue discharging their civic duties because it is not Sampa who elected them,” Mr Nakacinda said.
Mr Nakacinda said the 15 PF councillors had not committed anything wrong for campaigning for their independent candidate and that Mr Sampa’s time shall soon come for him to account.
Mr Sampa through a man called Mr Chibale, purporting to be PF Mufulira chairman has by extension purportedly suspended 15 PF councillors for campaigning for Mr Edward Zulu in the Kankoyo Ward by-election.
