PF ONLY HOPE FOR ZAMBIANS - NAKACHINDA

- By ROGERS KALERO

PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Secretary-General, Raphael Nakachinda, has accused the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) of resorting to dictatorial tendencies after failing to deliver on many of its campaign promises.

Mr Nakachinda therefore said the PF remains the only hope for the majority Zambians following this failure by the UPND.

He said the PF and former republican President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, is the only hope for the people of Zambia who have tested the leadership of the UPND.

Mr Nakachinda accused the UPND of plunging the country into worsening poverty and hunger because of greediness, selfishness and chaotic macroeconomic policies.

He said this in an interview after he was asked whether his party will participate in the Women's Day on March 8th and Youth Day on March 12, 2024.

“I am urging all the loyal and committed PF members to turn out in big numbers on both days to show Zambians that the former ruling party was still a united and formidable team and was set to bounce back in government and being sanity in the governance of the country,” he said.

Mr Nakachinda said the PF has become more popular in the opposition than it was when it was in government because the majority of Zambians were now comparing the two political parties and their style of governance and the heart for the people.

"We are participating in both the Women's Day and Youth Day and I must urge our members to turn out in big numbers. Yes, in big numbers in our PF regalia so that people see that we are still a united and formidable force. Our members must ignore the nonsense of Miles

Sampa and concentrate on setting a firm stage for our return to power.

“Those who want to destabilise PF must ask themselves why has PF continued to attract a huge crowd despite losing power in 2021? Why is their party not a crowd puller? This is one of the questions they should ask themselves and answer at the same time. Zambians don't like arrogance and rhetoric,” he said.
