HIGHEST LEVEL OF HYPOCRISY

- Dear Editor,

It will be the highest level of hypocrisy for the President to address the nation on the application of National values and principles.

For a start speaking in Parliament he will be facing a very hostile opposition because, his party and Government have robbed them of their rightful leader to impose Miles Sampa surrogate, who is himself a product of deceitfulness and Mingalato.

As a Christian nation, deceit and Mingalato cannot constitute any form of value or principle except when observance is meant in breach or lies.

Definitions are very clear: Principles refer to fundamental truths or rules that guide behavior and decision-making. They serve as the foundation for ethical conduct, personal integrity, and professional standards.

Principles often reflect universal concepts of fairness, honesty, respect, justice, and responsibility.

They provide a framework for individuals to navigate complex situations and make moral judgments. Principles can be applied in various contexts, such as personal relationships, business practices, governance, and social interactions.

They help individuals and organizations uphold standards of conduct, promote trust and accountability, and foster a sense of purpose and direction. Principles are often derived from values and serve as practical guidelines for living in alignment with one’s beliefs and ideals.

In the same way: Values refer to the core principles, beliefs, or ideals that guide and influence a person’s attitudes, behaviors, and decisions. They serve as a framework for individuals to determine what is important and meaningful in their lives.

Values can encompass various aspects such as ethics, morality, spirituality, relationships, personal development, and societal contributions. They often shape how individuals prioritize their goals, interact with others, and navigate challenges. Values can be influenced by a range of factors including culture, upbringing, education, religion, and personal experiences. Identifying and understanding one’s values is crucial for personal growth, self-awareness, and making choices aligned with one’s principles and aspirations.

At the bottom of it all an address on values and principles cannot be sustained in an environment of hostility, political chicanery and indeed where the tenets of democracy are abrogated by the executive, judiciary, legislature and the Police who curtail freedoms of assembly and indeed who deny citizens their liberties without any regard to the law.

We have political prisoners that have been in detention for more than a month and nothing is said by either the judiciary or public protector who should be ensuring that power is not abused.

It is my hope that the address will be cancelled completely until the right atmosphere ius created in the House and the rest of the nation.
